Blarney Stone Popcorn features a retail store in the heart of downtown Shannon, IL.  At a glance of the storefront you may see a hint of the past as we are housed in the original bank in Shannon.  The uniqueness continues as you enter the shop and see the vast assortment of flavored popcorn, unpopped popcorn, Primetime microwave popcorn, the gift tins and popping supplies.

In addition, the Blarney Stone is a unique shop also featuring gourmet food items.  Blarney Stone displays the Galena Canning Company line of jams, dessert toppings, barbecue sauces, grilling sauces, mustards, salad dressings, hot sauces, marinades, salsas, garlic, corn relish and more.  Gourmet coffee from Door County may be sampled  and purchased by the 12 oz. gift bag, one pot gift packs or even by the cup.  Dips from Wind and Willow and Country Gardens will tempt anyone’s taste buds.  Award winning meats from Eickman’s Processing, Seward, Illinois and Lena Maid Meats, Lena, Illinois as well as cheeses from the area fill the cooler.

Shannon, IL is home to a National Championship Barbecue contest each year in July.  Mike and Theresa Lake of Rock River BBQ reside here in Shannon and compete in barbecue competitions all over the United States.  Blarney Stone is proud to feature the Rock River BBQ Rampage Original and Mild Barbecue Sauces and their Rock River Rub in  All Purpose, Stampede and Sweet n’ Spicy.

We are fortunate to have two artists among the Blarney Stone group that display their amazing artwork.  You may see Native American Charcoal drawings by Beth Anne.  Each drawing is unique and the detail is phenomenal.  Diane Weaver also shows her watercolor art with either originals or prints.  Diane is inspired by the quiet corners and familiar objects in any home.  Diane’s artwork may be viewed framed or by the print.
